Tech News: PSP 2.6 Firmware HACKED!

If you’re like me you like to upgrade, but sometimes, like in the hacking world, upgrading can be fatal. That statement was just proven wrong!

So I bought a PSP a few months back, its great I love it. I use it for when I’m on trips or on a bus for a long period of time. I play Twisted Metal a lot but I like watching movies on it too.

When I found out you could surf the net using the 2.5 Firmware I had to upgrade. Yes, I did have a couple home brew games but I could sacrifice Sonic for the net. Besides I figured one day the home brew-crew would strike back. Well my friends, today is that day.

One of my favorite RSS feeds Hack-a-day.com showed me that the 2.0-2.6 firmware can be hacked with the Grand Theft Auto LCS game and the eLoader software. I’d like to know what I’m talking about, but I haven’t done it myself. You should check it out here.
