I am in England and the keyboard is kinda weird. I just came to tell all you zamwiers that I went into an apple store today and found out about the new mac mini…looks like I am two for two with apple predictions! I will blog more about it when I get back.
Cheerio!
UPDATE: Okay so I am back in home so I will update this post…
I wrote before on the Apple special event on the 28th with my prediction for the event. I predicted a few things, but I talked about a new Mac Mini, with media center features. It looks like I was correct! AWESOME!
Last year I also predicted the release of the 5th Generation iPod so therefore I am 2 for 2, look out ThinkSecret! You are 0 for 2 and I am 2 for 2…
Anyway thats it, just thought I’d rub it in!

[...] If you are in London you obviously have to Buckingham Palace, I mean its where the Queen lives. Of course, she wasn’t there while we were, she must’ve not known that we were coming to England. It really is a beautiful palace and you must watch the changing of the guards in front of the palace. That will really be the only time that you are close enough to make faces at the guards. Even though we didn’t see it on this trip, we saw the changing of the guards on my last visit to London. Once again seeing anything, especially Buckingham Palace, from the London Eye is great…but more to come. Tower Bridge Wow, Tower Bridge is the coolest bridge in London, surely you’ve seen it in pictures, but if you’re like most Americans you think its called London bridge, you’d be wrong. London bridge was purchased by an American for a few billion dollars, it is believed that this basic bridge was purchased for so much because the American buyer thought it was Tower Bridge…oops. Anyway, Tower Bridge sits along side the City Hall building, an interesting looking building full of London’s history and the Gerken building, which to be honest I don’t know too much about, besides the fact that it looks cool. Trafalgar Square Basically Trafalgar Square is a big hang out area with a free art exhibit some cool fountains and old buildings…haha…do you like that description? Really there is a lot of history in Trafalgar Square but mostly its a place to chill, if its hot you’ll see the Brits swimming in the fountains, I saw this on my last visit, it was a bit cold when we went… Parliament Parliament rocked, I really like politics, I was in the Model United Nations, and I got to see a decent debate on dentistry and socialized medicine, a topic that is pretty interesting to me, I am a big fan of socialized medicine, but hey I’m not going to get into politics right now. If you get to go to London, I recommend waiting in line for the half hour and watching a debate, it was worth it. Shopping in England Despite terrible exchange rates, nearly 2 to 1, shopping in London is the most modern I’ve seen in Europe. More people in London have iPods than I’ve seen any place in the world, everyone has those little white earbuds in their ear. You see a ton of iPod ads and there was a little iPod store in London, thats where I heard about the new Mac Mini, which the Brits weren’t too pleased about because the Intel Macs still weren’t shipping to the UK. There’s also a ton of stores on Oxford and Picidilly Circus. The prices are just a bit high since the exchange rate is terrible. Traveling in London Traveling in London is the easiest I’ve seen in any city. The public transportation is great trains, buses and tubes (subways) though I recommend traveling through the tube, which is really the easiest way to travel, for about 6 pounds you can get an all day transportation pass which will take you all the way out to the airport and the other end of London. There’s tubes everywhere… See everything for 13 pounds So I know its 26 dollars but you can see everything from the London Eye, which you have to do, its the best view of the city, on a nice clear day you can see miles and miles. Its also the biggest Ferris wheel in the world so you get bragging rights as well. … There really a lot more in London, but I can’t type all day. I really wanna roll this post out. You should check out my flickr set from London and tell me you don’t want to pack up and leave for London after seeing this… [...]
