Fold.com - My new home page!

I just came across a pretty cool startpage for all of your content in one place. I often open up Firefox with my current homepage a go through all my RSS feeds looking for new content, but with Fold’s startpage I no longer have to look around its all right in front of me.

Fold offers RSS integration, which is really my favorite part about it. I added all of the RSS feeds into my startpage and ordered them in three rows. Its quick and easy, just add the RSS feed’s URL into the options under the RSS container.

Like any portal or startpage you have to know the weather. Fold ties in Yahoo’s weather app into their startpage and by simply adding a zip code weather is implemented right into the browser…its too easy!

Keeping yourself organized on the web is essential and Fold has two options that I really enjoy for doing just that. With Fold’s calender option you can add your happenings throughout the year, month, day, or hour. It is a good looking calender which fits nicely into the Fold startpage in your browser.

Fold also offers quick notes, in a post it style…You can jot down anything you need to in that area.

Fold also added a few cool features into their beta release. You can do a quick search for Flickr tags which displays the photos as thumbnails or individual pictures, they also added an HTML option, to add pictures or HTML content, as well as Flash content right on your startpage.

Fold has some cool options and they’re continuing improvement on this beta project. Check out a demo of Fold here and more screenshots of Fold in action here.
