Moving out…

I am blogging from a hotel here in Wiesbaden, one that everyone knows and usually stays at when the arrive and depart (as we are doing now).
I really am not looking forward to moving, honestly, because I am going to miss all the great aspects of living in Wiesbaden. I was talking to my dad about leaving and came to the conclusion that I am very excited that I am going to Towson, and that I am starting a new journey in college, but I want to properly end what I have here before I do that, and in 9 days I must do just that.
It is terrible to move, I hate having to decide what gets shipped or what can be shoved into a carry-on bag, I mentioned this earlier…and I think that I may have put together a good enough collection for me to stay online, despite the terrible connection here.
Yesterday we had our first day of three days of shipping our household goods, we were really hoping that they would be able to knock out a lot that day and may even finish early. The packers did not arrive early, and it ended up being one person packing our house. Needless to say, barely anything was accomplished, but hopefully his two friends today will help get us closer to finishing packing out our house.
The World Cup is in full affair here in Germany, games are played everyday on TV’s downtown in cafes and restaurants. Despite not knowing the slightest thing about soccer and the World Cup, I enjoy watching the games and hearing the horns honk when Germany wins. I think they play tomorrow (Wednesday), I should be downtown at about 3:00 that day, so I will let you know.
Anyway, that is about all I have for today. I am working on a post about my wireless internet options here in the hotel, and discovering an Apple store right down the street from where I live. Speaking of which, everyone should go watch the new “Get a Mac” Apple ads, they are hilarious!
