Forced to get a Wii

Last night I went to the mall and left with something that I did not expect to have, a receipt. I left with 5 dollars down towards the new Zelda game for Nintendo Wii.
I have been really excited about Wii and thought about getting one for a while. But when they released information about the system I became a little less enthused, until I started talking to a few people again.
So I am selling my PSP, with a few games and my G4 Mac Mini to get the money for the Wii. I have heard they are taking pre-orders as early as October 1st and apparently they have been in production for quite some some, as opposed to the PS3. At the EB I went to they were expecting 4 PS3 consoles at most.

Why are you forced to get one? What have you heard that you didnt like about the Wii?

The price was not as appealing as it should have been. It is 250 instead of the 179 rumor. Also the title is “forced” because now I have to get one because I put down money on a game.
