Podcaster of the year Leo Laporte may not be trying to start a revolution, but a netcasting revolution is what he might get.
Last week Apple sent a cease and desist letter to Podcast Ready, stating that the terms MyPodder and Podcast Ready infringed upon Apple’s trademarks, this of course sent the blogosphere in a whirlwind of confusion.
Out of this whirlwind we were ready to rename the new form of media that Apple so lovingly took under there wing. Laporte and the TWiTS decided netcasting was good term, though in This Week in Tech episode 70 he stated that he was not trying to start a revolution.
The term has already hit Wikipedia, so trying or not trying, how long will it be before others begin renaming their media to netcasts?
