I absolutely love my Macbook Pro and I have even decided to hold on to my Mac Mini, okay, I just love Macs. But I really want some sort of DVR or way to watch TV, save it, stream it or something.

In my Mass Communications 101 class I have a report on Personal Journalism. I started with our text book, which is actually up to date, but then I looked deeper and added a few things that I talk about on this blog.

This week I was able to do something pretty interesting, I was in the Annapolis Mall, after seeing the new Mac Pro, and I stopped in the Bose store.
A guide to hotel living
Having lived in a military community, which I have now left, I know how to travel, I have been to over a dozen countries and stayed in countless hotels. However when moving to and from a location, as my family is doing with Germany, you stay at a hotel for a very long period of time, months in some cases. Living in a hotel is not an easy task, but I think I have a few tips that have helped me along the way.

Since Wednesday night I have:
- Said Good bye to my best friends in Germany = (
- Checked out of the Arms
- Flown to Chicago from Frankfurt International Airport
- Connected in Chicago and flown to Baltimore
- Visited my friend Ryan on the Eastern Shore
- Checked out the Apple store and priced my Mac Book Pro
- Visited downtown Annapolis and the Naval Academy
- Had a “Welcome Home” party
- Played terrible in Wiffle Ball
- Ate Chic-Fil-A
- Picked up a nice cell phone (review to come)
- Watched an Orioles game
Moving “home” has been tough, I’ve been home-sick for Germany and despite most of my friends leaving it still feels tough….
Anyway, I am connected here with my Mac Mini, it made it through customs and everything, and I am using some nice high speed internet.
Moving out…
I am blogging from a hotel here in Wiesbaden, one that everyone knows and usually stays at when the arrive and depart (as we are doing now).
Graduation
So I graduated today, and it wasn’t until Maggie’s speech that I realized this isn’t the end, but the beginning.
Portable living
I am done with school today, I have a party Saturday, graduation Sunday, moving to a hotel Monday, leaving next Thursday.
I got pulled over…
I’ve been driving for a year, and today was the first day that I got pulled over by the police
Talking Web 2.0 with schools
I got to do something really interesting today, in my Career Practicum job, which I work for our school district doing video and tech related projects, I was able to meet with the electronic tech (ET) administrators to talk a bit about web 2.0
innocent until proven guilty
The other day we got a friendly letter in the mail from my parent’s insurance saying that we fled the seen of a crime that we committed.

- zamwi: Messing around with "Who wants to be a Millionaire" iPhone application...when I saw phone a friend I really thought it was going to call.
- zamwi: I know I'm about to sound really nerdy...but it pisses me off when people hide under the level in COD World at War. Just filed 4 complaints.
- zamwi: Just called the location of my vacation to work out some little details...and I'm NOT telling where it is yet!
- zamwi: Its been movie night tonight. First Cloverfield, then Sarah Marshall...now a little Call of Duty before bed...ftw.
